Research Assistant
The Research Assistant will provide a range of research support to CID faculty and research fellows. S/he will often work with data, review research reports, and draft working documents. S/he will also interact closely with CID’s senior management and staff and hence must have excellent communication and organizational skills. The primary responsibilities include: learn complex research ideas, concepts, and methodologies and proactively apply them to new projects and situations; work closely with Growth Lab research teams in developing working papers, journal articles and presentations; analyze, manage, clean, and create datasets on a range of economic variables and indicators, including the use of Stata statistical software; Perform quantitative analysis of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data under general direction of faculty and fellows to develop, test, and synthesize analytical models as required; [More]

Research Fellow
The Growth Lab accepts applications on a rolling basis for Research Fellows with experience in project management who are interested in joining its dynamic group of researchers. This is a challenging and exciting position that includes both research and program management. The Fellow may contribute to research on industrial policy, growth diagnostics and The Product Space led by Prof. Ricardo Hausmann, while managing the programmatic aspects of the Growth Lab and other CID projects. We are looking for candidates who have working knowledge in either economic theory focused on growth or trade theory, or applied econometrics with an emphasis on identification strategy. Pre and Postdoctoral Fellowships (Non-Stipendiary only)
The Center for International Development accepts applications on a rolling basis for Pre or Postdoctoral Fellows who are interested in conducting research in the areas of economic development, growth, macroeconomics and trade as part of the Growth Lab. The Pre or Postdoctoral Fellows will conduct independent research, while contributing to the vibrant community of Growth Lab fellows.
