Jorge F. Tudela Pye
Jorge F. Tudela Pye joined the Center for International Development's Growth Lab as a Research Fellow in 2019.
Prior to joining the Growth Lab, Jorge worked as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Credicorp Capital, a Latin American Investment Bank, covering Peru's mining and utilities sectors as well as the country's macroeconomics and politics. He also worked in the Ministerial Office of the Minister of Production (Industry) of Peru, focusing on Productive Diversification, and as an Economist in the Ministry of Economics and Finance of Peru. He spent a summer with the World Bank's Macroeconomics team in Abuja, Nigeria, and developing the Trade Adjustment Program for the Government of Sri Lanka in Colombo.
Jorge holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School, and a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
His research interests include International Finance, Growth Diagnostics, Economic Complexity, and Capital Markets.
