Sheyla Enciso is a Policy Fellow at the Growth Co-Lab, the applied research unit in collaboration with the Growth Lab at the Harvard Kennedy School. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the LSE, with a specialism in economic policy (with honours).

Before joining the SPP, she worked for over six years informing and implementing public policies in Andean and Central American countries. Sheyla conducted applied research in a broad set of development-related topics at international institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Food Policy Research Institute. She previously worked for the Ministry of Economy and Finance in Peru.

At the Growth Co-Lab, Sheyla works on advanced applied research for the Government of South Africa in its formulation of policies to accelerate economic growth and inclusion. She is also a Teacher Assistant for the course Growth Diagnostics in Development.
